The second Sunday of the month, Arrowhead Gallery holds a Sunday Painters class where one of the artist teaches and where all are welcome. This month it was my turn, and we were painting using watercolors on rice paper. We had a blast!!

Had a blast last night with the BrushesNBrew at the Arrowhead Gallery & Studios in Old Fort, NC. These guys & gals were a blast, & we all did some awesome art. I’m looking forward to our next BrushesNBrew on July 21 from 6-8 PM at the gallery.

I had so much fun the first go round with painting on a burlap coffee bag that I did another one! This one isn’t framed (but can have an internal frame done) and is available. $50 without framing, $75 with.

I’m working on a few new projects.

The first one is with the gallery I’m in, Arrowhead Gallery & Studios, where I have created & started a gallery art journal book. It will be passed around to all the gallery artists who are interested to create some art work in. We’ll see about making a copy of the book for sale those interested. Stay tuned for that & check the website of the gallery for its arrival!

I have gotten on of my burlap coffee bags that I have scored from my local coffee roaster friend stretched on a frame. I am currently painting on it and will post pictures when I get closer to being done.

Lastly I am working on a 24×24 canvas of an old VW bug. Again, photos will be forthcoming once I start making some headway on it.
