Sometimes I get a hankering for using watercolors. I painted this cow on an 8×8 sheet of watercolor paper. She found a happy home in Union Mills, NC, where some real cows reside on the outside.

This is one I had a great deal of fun in making. Its a 12×12 mixed media painting where I used watch parts to help create the horse image.
Its currently on display for sale at Fire & Ice Jewelry on East Court Street in Marion, NC.

In a bright & happy mood, I painted this 16×20 acrylic on canvas board. This painting is now in a private collection.

I have found a “new” thing for me to play with! Its a Gelli Plate to make monoprints with. I have been having a blast making monoprint greeting cards. I have several at the Arrowhead Gallery in Old Fort & MACA (Marion Arts Council Association) in Marion, NC. No two cards are alike, all are very unique. I will also be teaching a class at Arrowhead Gallery on September 5th, 2015, on how to make these really neat cards & small works of art.

Here is a commission that I worked on and finished at the end of January. It hung in the Arrowhead Gallery & Studios in Old Fort, NC, until the owner could pick it up a week later. This is a 5 foot X 6 foot painting that my friend Connie wanted for her living room in Asheville, NC. It was a blast to do, & I’m very happy that she liked it.
